Yahoo and industry analysts expected that handing to Alibaba control of Yahoo China would boost its growth, but instead the brand has struggled in a local search market dominated by rivals Baidu and Google.

Put some newspaper down on a work surface. Remove and set aside the battery cap and batteries from the laser pointer.

Use the utility knife to remove the power button from the pointer's casing and put it aside.

Aim the flashlight so that you can see the small screw, called a potentiometer, that is inside of the power button case. Adjust the screw a slight amount counterclockwise using the jeweler's screwdriver to increase the laser's intensity.

Apply a small amount of bonding glue to the rim of the power button and insert the button back into the casing. Let the bonding glue set.

Replace the batteries and screw the battery cap back on.

1) The refractor is what most people think of when they hear the word "telescope". Refractors gather light with an objective lens at one end and focus the light at the eyepiece at the other end. Refractors were almost extinct at one point, but modern glass elements (including an exciting new artificially grown crystal known as fluorite) have brought the refractor back to prominence.

3 Magnification by itself is meaningless.

5 The smaller the scope, the more often it gets used.
